Do you remember the April Fool’s joke CAPCOM played on Rockman fans? Well, it’s happening according to rockman-corner.com
Ucchy of Rockman Unity teased fans with a Mega Man X figure composed by Keisuke Mizuno, which displayed X with almost an Ironman-like design. It was thought to be an April Fools day joke at the time, but the fans’ collective voice seem to be heard this time.
As promised, here’s the first details:
- 15cm (6 inches) in height, roughly in line with Bandai Figuarts MM figures
- Diecast armor on the chest, shin armor and feet
- 20 points of articulation
- LED functional X-Buster (can be swapped to either hands)
- 2 additional set of hands (fist and splayed)
- Extra faceplate (“shouting”)
- Swappable back thrusters (opened and closed)
- Attachable blast effect accessory for the X-Buster
- Tentative March/April 2015 release
- Produced by TruForce Collectables
- Bluefin distributing in North America
- Colored prototype will be on display in February at the New York Toy Fare
- Price is TBA
There are plans to have a Kickstarter next month to help fund the tooling costs for the figure (it will be made regardless). TruForce Collectibles will be making it.
